Make a Difference at Baltic Ports Conference 2013
Almost 150 representatives of the Baltic ports, the EU Commission, governments and the shipping industry gathered in Klaipeda, Lithuania on 5–6 September to attend the annual Baltic Ports Conference. The main purpose of the conference was to highlight challenges for the Baltic ports in future market conditions.
Topics discussed included the EU port policy, global trends, market conditions and the situation in the Baltic economies. In addition, Edvard Molitor, Assistant Manager, Maritime Operations at SSPA Sweden AB, delivered a presentation entitled “Make a Difference – project update. Ship-owners’ perspective from LNG point of view”.
The conference was organized by the Baltic Ports Organization (BPO) and Port of Klaipeda.
